What is your style?
I specialize in creative and candid wedding photography with a photojournalistic, contemporary style. I approach your wedding day as a storyteller, as I strive to capture real, honest emotion and fleeting moments that make you unique and tell your love story; yet I’m not afraid to stylize and finesse your posing to make sure you look incredible. All my wedding collections include all day coverage and no limits on images taken. My ultimate goal is to create natural, timeless, moving and artistic imagery that you will treasure, share and display your entire life.
How long does it take see my engagement or wedding images?
Your edited images are ready for you to view 1-2 weeks after your engagement session, and 3-4 weeks after your wedding.
Are you bilingual?

What areas do you serve?
I currently serve the Monterey and the Santa Cruz county areas. This includes photography for Monterey County such as Salinas, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Carmel, Marina, Seaside and Castroville, as well as Santa Cruz county such as Watsonville, Aromas, Aptos, Soquel and Santa Cruz. How many images can I expect from my event?
This can vary depending on the event, but I average around 40-50 final, edited images an hour. So we are looking at 320-400 for a typical 8 hour wedding, and 50-60 for a 1.5 hour engagement.

Are you a “natural light” photographer?
Photography is all about capturing and creating art with light. I love using natural light, and feel it gives a really nice, organic feel to an image; but I do use modifiers such as reflectors and diffusers to mold it as needed, as well as flash and continuous lighting.
Rest assured I come prepared to your shoot or event with the skills and equipment necessary to capture beautiful, memorable images of your special day.
Do you shoot RAW?
I shoot in RAW, which means that my images contain all their image data, as opposed to jpg which compresses and throws most data away in order to reduce file size. By doing this, I produce higher quality images and have the ability to correct problem images that would be unrecoverable if shot in the JPEG format.
When shooting jpg, the camera makes the post-processing decisions for you, to flat, “average” results. When shooting RAW, I have the ability to really fine tune the look and feel of my own images.
How much post-processing and/or editing do you do?
Usually, I’ll do white balance correction, plus a bit of contrast, exposure correction, light vignette and saturation. I’ll also convert a select number of images to black and white.
I don’t like to heavily process my images, as I prefer that they to look natural and timeless. A lot of the over processed Instagram styled filters and photoshop actions trending today can quickly become dated. This includes the use of heavy vignettes, filters, selective colors, cross processing and HDR. I prefer light, natural looking editing that looks incredible, yet can stand the test of time. This kind of editing simply enhances the beauty of already well taken photos, instead of trying to “fix/salvage/cover up” sub standard photos with filters.

I use top of the line professional canon equipment.

Do you have insurance?
Yes I do.
Weddings are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis and are reserved upon receiving the retainer fee and signed contract. The retainer/reservation fee is 50% of the price of the total package. This is necessary to secure your date. The remainder of the final fee is due no less than 30 days before your event date. The retainer is non refundable.
Engagement sessions are due in full at the time of booking.
